General guidelines for materials and e-learning pathways at Skolen
What is the Quality Process?
Our mission at Skolen Online is to enable K12 students
and teachers/schools around the world to have easy access to educational
materials, lessons and courses that they can either study themselves, access by
enrolled in our Online Classes or by using traditional school boundary
frameworks. Our course covers subjects and competence objectives as set out in The
Danish Ministry of Children and Education's competence requirements for the
subjects, but at the same time extend wider than the national curriculum. To
ensure that students have good learning experiences, we have a quality review
process in place that each course goes through.
When your course is fully ready, you must submit your
course for review to participate in the course in our quality control process.
You will contact us to open a draft course and assign yourself as an instructor
so you can set it up.
Once you have submitted your course for review, we
will send it through our quality assessment team, who will evaluate your course
and provide feedback on all the elements of our quality control list. Once your
course is passed, it will be published for everyone to discover on our platform
and marketplace. Until then, your course will not be visible and cannot be
published. If the
process does not meet our quality process, we reserve the right to reject the
process as finished and therefore cannot approve it.

The quality team will give you feedback on the course
and they will give you info on whether it is approved or needs to be corrected
to and adjusted to meet the quality requirements.
If the team sees no need for additions, corrections or
other adjustments, your progress will be published on our pages.
If corrections are needed, you will receive
information about what is missing for the process to be approved. You can then
turn to and submit to the Quality Team review again for approval.
Once your course is approved, you will get a
confirmation of it.
Our Quality Team makes sure to appreciate and
subscribe, as well as publish your course so students can find it and sign up
for your course.
Then it is your job to help spread it.
It is recommended that you be active and help
make yourself and your skills visible by writing short or longer articles, blog
posts, shared social updates, short audio files and other things that can be
shared on Skolen Online's own websites as well as social media and 3.parts
partners' page to attract students.
